  • Was an integral part of the team which performed Bariatric surgery (Laparascopic Sleeve Gastrectomy) on a 250 kgs man ,  BMI 86 , at Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon, August 2009, one of the heaviest patients in India to have undergone this procedure, at that time.
  • Won First Prize in National Essay Competition on “Life of Jawaharlal Nehru” organized jointly by Indian & British Embassy at Aden, PDRY, Jan. 1989.
