Dr. Siddharth Nigam is a Senior Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Max Hospital, Gurugram. He is the Co-author of six books, ‘Essentials of Abdominal Wall Hernias’ , ’40 Minutes with God’ ,  ‘An Introduction to History of Medicine’ , ‘Science , Faith & Medicine’ , ‘A Handbook of Gastroesophageal Disease’ &  ‘A Handbook of Appendix’.

He is the Inventor of three surgical techniques ie. ‘NICH – Nigam’s Inverse Curtain Hernioplasty’ , ‘Recurrence Free Primary Closure Operative Technique for Pilonidal Sinus’ & ‘Nigam’s Modified Roeder’s Knot in Cutting Seton in High Fistula–in–Ano’. 

He has presented Papers at National and International Conferences in the field of General Surgery. He has published over 27 Papers in International & National Journals.
His areas of interest are hernia, gall stones,  haemorrhoids, fissure in ano, fistula in ano, pilonidal sinus, appendicitis, breast diseases and gastrointestinal diseases.
